Live Womad coverage to reach one million listeners

's live broadcasts from this weekend's festival will provide unrivalled coverage of the event for more than one million listeners locally and nationally.

will be heard in the ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ metropolitan area on Radio ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ 101.5fm on Saturday March 11 and Sunday March 12, from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Listeners around the country will also tune in to the programs, broadcast to around 60 other stations via two satellite networks, & the .

Womadelaide is one of this country's best - and best-loved - music festivals, showcasing a huge array of talented performers from around the world, with this year's festival featuring more than 400 artists from 27 countries.

The national community radio broadcasts from Womadelaide, which are coordinated by Radio ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ, have become a hugely popular feature of the community broadcasting calendar, with increasing numbers of stations and listeners around the country eagerly anticipating and tuning in.

This year's program presenters - Radio ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ's Jane Costessi, Seth Jordan (from Canberra's ), and Roger Holdsworth & Systa BB (both from Melbourne's ) - will introduce live crosses to concert stages and interview artists from the dazzling lineup. The production team will record around 30 performances and conduct interviews with the leading international and Australian performers.
