Extra places awarded to ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ±

The University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ± has succeeded in winning more than 200 extra places for students from 2007, in areas such as , , and .
New places for Australian universities were announced today by Federal Education Minister .
The University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ± was awarded 215 extra places out of South Australia's total allocation of 285 places.
In addition to those places already announced for , and at the University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ±, the University will now offer extra places in , , and . The places will be offered in Bachelor and Masters degrees and Graduate Diplomas, including places for some new academic programs.
"This is an outstanding result for the University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ±, as it recognises our role in providing the key skills required by graduates for Australia's future," says the University's Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), .
"The extra places are a great boost to education in South Australia," Professor McDougall says.

Bachelor of Nursing - 10
Master of Clinical Psychology - 10
Graduate Diploma in Nursing Science (Mental Health Nursing) - 25
Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery - 40
Bachelor of Teaching - 20
Graduate Diploma of Education - 10
Master of Geostatistics - 20
Bachelor of Engineering (Mining Engineering) - 30
Bachelor of Engineering (Pharmaceutical Engineering) - 30
Master of Marine Engineering - 20
