New Dean to lead Roseworthy Campus expansion

The University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ± today announced the appointment of as Executive Dean for the University's .
Professor Reid will commence in the role immediately, with responsibility for the overarching strategic direction at Roseworthy, particularly the , its and other clinical and commercial activities.
Professor Reid will also lead the Campus's extensive community engagement activities, including the numerous research centres, partners and other key stakeholders.
The University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ±'s Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor James McWha, said the appointment reflected the importance of the Roseworthy Campus and the investment in agriculture and animal sciences at the University.
"Agricultural studies have long been synonymous with the University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ± and Roseworthy. Today, with the State's first and only Vet School established, a public veterinary centre for small animals and mobile services for horses and production animals, the Roseworthy Campus continues to go from strength to strength," said Professor McWha.
"Professor Reid has the academic background, sound judgment and clear vision to lead the Campus through its next stage of development. He also played a major role in the establishment of the Vet School. Most importantly, he has a genuine belief in the role Roseworthy plays in
