Chancellor awarded Queen's birthday honour

University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ Chancellor, the , has been made a Companion of the Order of Australia for his eminent service to the Parliament of Australia, particularly through the development of policy reform in the portfolios of the environment and defence, and to Australia's international relations through senior diplomatic representation to the United Nations.
Mr Hill, appointed Chancellor of the University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ in June 2010, is highly regarded for his contribution as a Member of Parliament, which included 25 years as Senator for South Australia (Liberal).
A University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ graduate in Arts and Law, Mr Hill also holds a Masters Degree in Law from University College London.
