Alexander Downer to give Playford Lecture

Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Downer will give the Sir Thomas Playford Memorial Lecture today (Wednesday) at the University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ at 1pm.

Mr Downer's lecture is entitled Australian Politics and the Christian Church.

The Sir Thomas Playford Memorial Lecture is given annually to honour South Australia's longest serving Premier, and is hosted and organised by the University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ Liberal Club. Previous lecturers include Prime Minister John Howard and Workplace Relations Minister Tony Abbott.
