Tasting Australia
We’re honoured to be a 2024 Premier Partner of Tasting Australia, the country’s largest eating and drinking festival.
Running from 3 to 12 May, the South Australia-wide festival brought together the nation’s leading producers, chefs and winemakers to create and celebrate excellence in their respective fields. In doing so, it highlights the incredible influence that our University has had, and continues to have, on these pivotal Australian industries—a remarkable number of those hosting Tasting Australia events this year are University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ alumni.
Tasting Australia 2024 has finished, but you can still check out their website and stay tuned for updates on the 2025 festival.Â

In addition to supporting the full spread of Tasting Australia events, we also ran a series of masterclasses showcasing the impact the University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ has on agriculture, food, and wine.Â
The University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ Masterclass Pavilion
There were an exciting array of engaging presentations and workshops held in the University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ Masterclass Pavilion, broadening attendees’ knowledge and appreciation of wine, beer, spirits and more. The pavilion was conveniently located right in the heart of Tasting Australia action, in ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ’s Victoria Square.
Outside of Town Square, the University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ also ran five masterclasses at the Food Innovation Lab at the Waite Campus for the very first time, highlighting the exciting and important work being done by UoA researchers.Â
