For the academic year 2026/27, FRIAS - the international research college of the University of Freiburg - is offering fellowships for postdoctoral and senior researchers. FRIAS hosts scholars from all nations and disciplines, providing them with the opportunity to fully concentrate on their research projects during multi-month fellowships and connect with colleagues from around the world. FRIAS offers its fellows excellent research conditions, including dedicated fellow services and additional research funding.

Applications for Round 2 of the ASEAN Research Collaboration Project are now open.This project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education through the International Education Innovation Fund (IEIF), delivered in partnership with the RMIT Asia Hub. This program will deliver Early Career Researcher placements for ASEAN member states in Australian research institutions in shared priority areas. Recipients will have the opportunity to expand their professional networks and have access to leading academics, facilities, and equipment in Australia to develop their own research interests and competencies. This opportunity will build long term commercially oriented research partnerships between ASEAN members and Australia.

This funding program aims to support research projects in all scientific fields related to the Antarctic and the Southern Ocean. The grant can facilitate researcher exchanges between Australia and France, supporting fieldwork and collaborative research efforts.

Applications are now open for the MLFP Research Grants. The grants aim to develop research collaborations between South Australia and Japan in urban planning, urban design, environmental management and related disciplines. Up to AUD$20,000 per project is available with applications accepted on a rolling basis.
