International Student Awards - Oscar Ong

Oscar Ong, University of ÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ SRC President, was given a High Commendation in the Support and Advocacy category of the StudyÐÂÀ˲ÊƱ International Student Awards.

Originally from Malaysia, Oscar has worked hard to provide international students with the support they need, especially throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. His achievements include:

  • Advocating for student welfare
  • Assisting in establishing the Student Support Package during COVID-19
  • Helping to introduce the pass non-graded system for 2020
