2025 Luxton Memorial Lecture

The Centre for Energy Technology and the Institute for Sustainability, Energy and Resources are proud to present the 2025 Luxton Memorial Lecture.

Alison Reeve, Energy and Climate Change Program Director at the Grattan Institute, will present, “From ambition to action: policy to deliver Australia’s net zero ambitions” on Thursday August 21, in the Braggs Lecture Theatre, the University of ˲Ʊ, from 5:00 – 6:30pm.

After her presentation, Alison will be joined in conversation by University of ˲Ʊ experts on industrial decarbonisation, engaging communities for environmental decision-making, and international political economy, Prof Gus Nathan, Prof Melissa Nursey-Bray and Prof Peter Draper, respectively.

The Luxton Memorial Lecture is presented in honour of Professor Russell Escourt 'Sam' Luxton, FTS, FIEAust, FAIE, FRSAMC, FRSA (1933-2013).
