2025 Luxton Memorial Lecture

Alison Reeve, Energy and Climate Change Program Director at the Grattan Institute, will present the 2025 Luxton Memorial Lecture, “From ambition to action: policy to deliver Australia’s net zero ambitions” on Thursday August 21, in the Braggs Lecture Theatre, the University of ˲Ʊ, from 5:00 – 6:30pm.

Celebrating Dr. Rachelle Kernen: Awarded ARC Early Career Industry Fellowship

Dr. Rachelle Kernen, a member of ISER, has been awarded an ARC Early Career Industry Fellowship to lead a $455,109 project on underground hydrogen storage. Her research focuses on Australia’s ancient salt basins, using advanced modelling and field data to identify safe, scalable storage sites, supporting the nation’s clean energy transition through strong academic–industry collaboration.
