Orientation Accessibility Requirements

University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ± is committed to ensuring all students are able to participate in their educational experience.

We have a team of Disability Advisors who can work with you to provide confidential and personalised assistance to students with a disability or ongoing health condition.Ìý

Specific support

TheÌýDisability Support team can organise the following services for you:

  • Auslan InterpretingÌý
  • Low Vision supportÌý
  • Physical Access/Mobility supportÌý

Access our services

If you require any of the services listed above to participate in your orientation week activities, please:

  1. Send an email to disability@adelaide.edu.au
  2. Make sure to include:
    • Your name
    • Student ID
    • Phone number
    • A brief description of your access requirements (including which orientation dates and session you will be attending)
  3. Please send all details before 5:00pm on Wednesday 9 July 2025.

A member of the Disability Support team will then contact you directly to organise.Ìý

Please note that we cannot guarantee to fulfill requests for orientation support made after the above deadline.Ìý

Low sensory space

Neurodivergent students, please note that a low sensory space will be available during orientation at Barr Smith 346 in Hub Central.
