Engaging, interactive and available on topics as diverse as Shakespeare to Artificial Intelligence, our online short courses are fully flexible, allowing you to study when and where suits you.
All courses are designed and taught by the University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ±â€™s world-renowned academics, and may include links to readings, research, videos, quizzes and questionnaires.
They are hosted on the University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ±â€™s own Learning Management System and on , and typically range from four to six weeks in duration, requiring one to two hours of study per week.

How long do I have to complete an online short course from date of enrolment?
You have 12 months from the date of enrolment to complete the course requirements.

What does ‘self-paced’ mean?
‘Self-paced’ means you can complete the course requirements anytime, online, at your own pace. You have 12 months from the date of enrolment to complete the course requirements.

Am I required to attend live lectures?
No. There are no live lectures or tutorials for you to attend. All videos are pre-recorded so you can learn at your leisure.

How do I earn and access my course certificate?
You will earn a course certificate by successfully completing the course requirements. Individual courses may have a different assessment criterion but will usually consist of multiple-choice questions.
The course certificate is digital and will be available for you to download via your immediately after completing the course requirements.

Do online short courses count toward a degree program at the University of ÐÂÀË²ÊÆ±?
No. These courses are non-award and do not hold credit value, nor is Registered Prior Learning (RPL) available.
